Congratulations to those protesters in London and Paris who helped to extinguish the Olympic torch. I can't wait for the games to truly begin and for all of China's abuses to come out of the woodwork. It just remains to be seen if NBC will grow a pair and actually show protests and other stories about what's really happening in China.
I think the almost comical things that the Chinese are doing to put on a good face are the best part. The no pollution initiative for example; like that's going to happen. It's like China doesn't think that we will notice some of these things or something. Well, maybe they are right. I see a lot of truth in this illustration:

Donk, I laughed out loud when I saw your map...funny stuff. I too am cheering on the protesters...do us proud San Francisco. Whoever thought it would be a good idea for China to host the Olympics should be punished (if it needs to be severe have the Chinese government carry out the punishment). While I remained silent during the debacle with China in SLC (due to my lack of education on the subject), I'm glad to see that you and others more knowledgeable about the current circumstances spoke out. I hope Seattle lets the Chinese team know how they feel when China takes on El Tri in the northwest.

And here I thought that the problem with our education system was the fact that we do not have enough maps! Reply to this
