Rosario Central reserves

Funny how this time RSL made sure in the press release that it got mentioned the match was against the reserves. To be honest, that's still impressive, Rosario, and any team in the top flight of Argentina, are not slouch teams. Their organization is much better than anything an MLS team can even dream about at this point. Youth systems, stadiums, rabid followings, all that is on a scale that MLS can't even really fathom at this point.
A draw in a pre-season friendly with a reserve side from a real league, and one of the better leagues on earth, is a good result. Thankfully, we didn't get fed a whole load of shit about this match this time. Just sucks that it seems that the teams first instinct, much like the Nixon White House is to try to lie and cover things up instead of just telling things how they are. You would think after all the various incidents of getting burned while doing this, RSL would maybe learn a lesson. If you screw up, fine, shit happens, but if you don't correct the problem, it's no longer a matter of shit happening.
