Ding dong the witch is dead!!!  Guess I really do need to figure out how to change my URL now.  I already have one registered, hopefully I can get it to switch.  Anyway, the article in the Trib was enlightening.   I guess he still had hard feelings towards Checketts for firing him.  The discussion on Bigsoccer.com is getting pretty deep in the brown smelly stuff too.  I believe Steve Pastorino, Mr. Hatrack, when he said at the time he was fired that Ellinger called all of the shots in regards to the soccer side of the house (read AYL Soccer's interview with him).  Obviously some don't quite believe that, but what can you say.  John Ellinger is a nice guy, as a person he is great, he was just not cut out to coach at the MLS level.  There have been rumors linking him with Red Bull New York's youth development program.  I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.

In other news, I guess we beat Houston.  I completely missed the match, due to studying (weekends right now are the only time I get to get things done), but Findley's goal was great and up for Gaol of the Week (RSL fans you know what to do!).  I still find it scary that it seems we're relying too much on the ball over the top, but since we didn't really have a CAM for that match, makes sense.  I find it frustrating that when we finally pick up a quality defensive midfielder in Kyle Beckerman, we lose both of our real attacking mids in Adu and Ballouchy.  While I'm glad to see the back of Ballouchy, all we have left at CAM is Andy Williams and when he misses a match for whatever reason, we're stuck with Chris Brown.  If you want a good summary of what Chris Brown brings, read the Heretic Report.  Reed has it right and says it much better than I could.

So Look for this site to finally make the switch to www.rslmalcontent.com once I figure out how to get it all to switch.
