First the trade.  Chris Klein for Nate Sturgis and Robbie Findley.  I think this is a great trade.  Both are quality guys.  I like Klein, he's a quality person, but when you can get two players that are as young and talented as these two you jump on it.  I almost wonder what LA has up their sleeves as it seems that the trade ors are flying with half their team being mentioned as being on the block.  I can only hope that the Zidane ors are true.  Regardless, I would hope that both these guys get  the start saturday against DC.  Findley helps to address our need at forward and Sturgis fills the same position as Klein and the ability level is similar.  I won't miss Klein's shots that go 10 feet over the goal, maybe this will solve that problem.  Plus for Klein, he gets to play with David Beckham.

Now for DC.  Last year, who can forget the added time two penalty kick win by RSL.  Thsat match at the end with the crowd being so into it showed just what RSL fans are capable of in there is something on the pitch worth cheering about.  DC last year won the Supporter's Shield with the best regular season record.  This year has not been so kind to DC, but they are still in the middle of the table and in a playoff spot.  Ben Olsen, better known in his role as the GEICO caveman, a couple of weeks ago scored a hat trick and last week, Luciano Emilio scored a brace.  DC also has Jamie Moreno who is tied with Coach Kreis as the all-time leading scorer in MLS history with 108 career goals.  DC has the weapons, what remains to be seen is if they can pull it all together for this season.  Last year, RSL got two late penalties to win in SLC and a draw at RFK.  Thanks to the ref Abbey Okulaja.  Thanks for keeping you eyes on the match Abbey.

How RSL stacks up with DC remains to be seen as it is looking like quite a few starters for DC are out with injury/national team duty/suspentions.  Also, should be interesting to see how Esky rises to the occasion of playing DC again.  Before he came to RSL from Toronto, he scored a gaol against DC.  Hopefully both Esky and Adu play well against their old team and both score.  Another former DC player is Nick Rimando, who has been playing lights out lately so we'll see how this all plays out.  At the very least, it would be nice to see Jay Nolly start for DC.  I miss Nolly.
