I didn't get a chance to see much of the US against China, so I don't know what to expect from them.  From what I understand they played tough, so this should be a great game to figure some things out.  Rumor has it both Andy Williams and Chris Brown are starting.  Andy should be starting league games, Brown, no.  I am interesting in seeing who they will start for.  My guess is Brown for Atiba and Williams for Ballouchy, but Adu would not surprise me.  Really, I hope that they do take this as an training game, in that I hope to see a lot of guys given a shot in a game situation.  I would love to see us win, but I'm not really concerned about that for this game.

Now, I am really looking forward to having a bit of a China protest.  I know people have tried to argue that the players are not responsible for things like Tienanmen Square and are just innocent kids, but the don't understand how sports work in a communist country.  To the communists, sports are political.  International competition is a way to show the superiority of their system.  The athletes are not allowed to leave the country unless they are deemed to be politically reliable.  Most of the international caliber athletes are members of the communist party.    A very small minority of the population are even allowed to join the party.  To me this means that they are at least partially responsible for the politics of their county.  Internationally, very few countries bother me near as much as China, and only Russia (since Putin came to power) are as opposed to American interest as China.

I will be proudly waving my Republic of China (Taiwan) flag tomorrow.  I know Tibet flags will be in attendance.
