I found out on Saturday that I am going to be coaching my daughter's AYSO team this fall and spring.  It's kindergarteners which should be interesting.  I'm going to have to behave myself and really watch my language, but otherwise it should be fun.  But yes, Donk will be coaching kindergarteners, my friends have already said this is a disaster waiting to happen.  I'm actually excited and just hope that I can make it fun for the kids and maybe teach them something.

Sounds like a great time. I helped coach my daughter's team back when she was in kindergarten and had a great time. I'm sure you'll do well. You'll probably have the best tailgating in the league.

The Technical Tuesdays page on the UYSA website gives you more than enough games and drills to last a season.
You definitely have to read "Soccerhead" if you've been drafted as a youth coach. Fantastic book. Good luck!

Thanks for the help.  I ordered Soccerhead and Coaching Soccer for Dummies from Amazon.  Thanks again.  I was a bit scared at first, but I think I can do this.
