I thought overall a well-played match.  The own goal was unfortunate, but then, so was the other really.  Strange scoreline, which didn't really reflect the flow of the match.  Some points I take

• Kirpe looked good and fast in the time he got.  Does this mean Stewart is going to be on the bench?
• Adu was MOTM, great job by Kreis in putting him in a position to succeed.
• ESPN, way to disappoint me yet again.  Of course, what can I really expect.  That NASCAR news got really old really fast.  And Wynalda, please have something useful to add to the match.  I will say, way to check the Rocky Mountain Cup website and show what the rivalry is all about.
• Torres, if Adu didn't have the match he did, you would be MOTM, great job, the rust is now off and you are playing great.  Pope as well, and what can you say about Willis Forko?  The kid just plays and plays well.
• Atiba Harris not getting caught up in getting stupid fouls even when Pablo was trying to suck him in.  He didn't have the match he did last week but still a pretty good performance considering that usually he would have had at least a yellow. 
  
• Kreis.  Way to plan, especially with Adu.  Still need to get the fitness level up, but that takes time (that's another thing, do the ESPN guys realize that RES is just a few hundred feet lower than DSGP in altitude?). 
  
• Mehdi and Klein, please, we you are in the clear at the top of the 18, shoot the ball and get some good wood on it.  Your teammates will not be upset you didn't pass to them if the ball is in the back of the net, or even if there is a save, good chance something good comes of it, like a Hercules offside rebound goal (hard call to make at full speed, slow mo shows it was not offside, but at full speed, I thought he was). 
  
• Cunningham, overall a good match, not much to say one way or another other than I really wish I could have seen your goal celebration.
• Talley, great job doing what you do, plugging the middle.

I don't think we're firing on all cylinders just yet, but I do think that we are firing on more than we before. As long as there's improvement I'm happy with that.
